Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Please, please, please just go to another health center, urgent care, or whatever you need to go. Incredibly slow. If you are a student, none of the information on Healthypack will transfer to 'sign-in' stations. Additionally, the site for this building very frequently shuts down and you are pretty much helpless if you need to fill an appointment or required form. WakeMed and Urgent care is a longer walk from here, but they are probably better in every single way.

I've had consistently good experiences here throughout my time in college. I've come here for physical therapy, the counseling center, the pharmacy, injuries, and illnesses. Each time, the staff was very kind and helpful. When I came in for an injury, I was very nervous, but they were extremely supportive. Dr. Roberson was the one who encouraged me to look into help for my anxiety, and I'm glad I was able to because of their support and advice!

Dr. Curzan is a truly wonderful doctor. Throughout my time at NC State, sheβs been incredibly supportive and kind. Her warm demeanor always brings a smile to my face, even when Iβm not feeling my best. Her confidence and reassurance show just how much she knows and cares about her work. Her assistant is also fantasticβalways welcoming and calming, making sure patients feel comfortable and at ease before Dr. Curzan comes in. Together, they create such a positive and caring environment that really makes a difference.

Iβve had consistently excellent experiences with Campus Health Services across a wide range of care. Iβve used them for primary care visits--annual exams, seasonal respiratory illnesses, and the occasional injury due to clumsiness--as well as for physical therapy, gynecological services, psychiatric care, lab work, and the on-site pharmacy. No matter the department, the staff is always friendly, respectful, and genuinely focused on patient well-being. Every nurse and doctor Iβve encountered has made me feel safe, seen, and cared for. While I canβt say I necessarily look forward to going to the doctor (who does? lol), I do look forward to knowing that Iβll be treated with compassion and professionalism every time I visit. I also deeply appreciate the level of care and sophistication available on campus, which my undergraduate institution didnβt have. We are truly fortunate to have such high-quality health services at our university!

I had a disappointing experience during my visit. When the nurse came to get me from the waiting room, there was no greeting or acknowledgment. Instead, the first thing she said was to question how I managed to schedule an appointment while being 10 minutes late. This was my first appointment ever, and I had called earlier to ask about parking. I was advised to park behind the building, but when I couldnβt find parking there, I had to look for another spot, which caused the delay. Despite explaining this, she kept repeating the same question, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Her demeanor was unwelcoming, and at one point, she even asked where I was from. The entire interaction left me feeling uneasy and disappointed.
